It’s 2001, a new century, a new millennium. And, three albums in, the Afro Celt project has moved beyond being an idea, a concept. They’re now very much a band, one that’s has now earned its stripes live as well as in the studio. Still omnivorously consuming far-flung, seemingly disparate musical styles and effortlessly unifying them, the core quartet are joined by around 20 guests on Volume 3: Further In Time, most notably Peter Gabriel and Robert Plant.
