Little Teeth have their Bonds - The legendary band Zuby nehty has their own intimate version, the trio of Malé Zuby (i.e. Little Teeth). The core members are Marka Míková (elp) and Pavla Jonssonová (bg), with whom Jana Kaplanová (dr, tp) sometimes performs. Jana, Pavla and Marka recorded a new album in the Ondřej Ježek’s Jámor studio, which has a release date of October 20, 2023 under the title Pouta (i.e. Bonds)

The album contains 12 original songs by Pavla Jonssonová and Marka Míková.The author and singer of Malé Zuby, Marka Míková, explains the album title: "Pouta (i.e. Bonds) are about what connects us. Whether we like it or not, there are relationships and bonds between us because we do not live in the world alone. And despite the fact that it is often not easy, one feels grateful for it.” And Pavla Jonsson continues: “The band Malé Zuby is founded on bonds created from invisible networks. Actually, no one knows exactly where the bonds came from, maybe they were brought up from the depths of the seas by narwhals, maybe they appeared on the seat of a train that was just crossing the Negrelli Viaduct. Pavla found something Under the New Forest while the dove circled with the black raven."

The compositional handwriting of both authors is unmistakable, that's why everyone who has ever heard the band Zuby nehty will feel at home from the first song. Thanks to the more intimate line-up, however, the poetic nature of the lyrics and the rawness of the songs themselves come to the surface. The trio Malé zuby perfectly complements the musical position of the original band Zuby naty. The chamber project of Zuby nehty weaves the basic question "What really matters in life?" into all the songs. In search of the answer, Malé Zuby will take you to remarkable places, you will get lost in the landscape, fully bonded, and you will want to listen to it again and again.
