Nèro Scartch exchanges lust for love in his new song Moments of Mental Paradise!
The Mydy Rabycad keyboardist will make you smile with his new Spring single. The cheerful and unforced ambience of the track is quite the opposite of what we‘re used to from Scartch. Despite hiding his real name Jakub Svoboda behind a pseudonym, it’s no secret he likes surprising/schocking his fans with stark contrasts within his solo creations. This time, he dives into the unfamiliar waters of inner joy and melodiousness. Yet he keeps his personal style, and that’s why we can still hear the minimalistic electronica that we noticed on his single from last year, Turn Me On, which came out along with a controversial music video.
„Music is the language through which I share my deepest emotions and fears. I often used to sing about sadness and frustration. But this time I wanted to share the joy and inner calm I’m feeling now,“ says Scartch. „There are new people entering our lives all the time and others leaving. We only have a certain amount of time for each other, and this song is my conciliation with that. Let’s not worry about the results of spending time together; let‘s just enjoy these unrepeatable moments.“
The 24-year-old producer didn’t hesitate to enhance the track with female vocals. He approached the singers Gabi and Jana Věnečková and, while you’re listening to their catchy lines, you get the feeling you’re being treated to soul music with a contemporary electronic flavour.
