Přerod

The charming Tereza Hrabini debuts with the album Přerod (i.e. Transformation), on which she offers original songs in an ambient mood. Guitar and soft electronics permeate the tracks in which Tereza's voice elevates to dreamy distances and brings you closer to the landscapes of the heart. Přerod features eight tracks and is also available on vinyl.

After the two singles,  "Řeka v zimě" (i.e. River in Winter) and "Pole vlčích máků" (i.e Field of Poppies) the full album is here. The recording "Přerod" is charged with emotions of transformation and changes. Through the songs, listeners weave their way through pain to find stability in the beauty of fleeting human life.The listening experience begins with a short chant of "Kai! Kai! Kai!", symbolically referencing the South American ritual of Moondance. In the opening song "Žlutý dům" (i.e.Yellow House), Tereza captures the atmosphere of campfires, summer days and nostalgia. This song is a kind of farewell to childhood and opens the door to other musical stories.

The song  "Pole vlčích máků"  (i.e.Field of Poppies) carries the theme of hopes and dreams, which, however, always seem far away. The following song "Svěhlavosti" (i.e. Stubbornness) moves in similar emotional spheres.  "Řeka v zimě" represents a turning point in which one must confront the situation and accept the necessity of change.

The song "Rebirth" offers comfort in the present moment, where darkness and obstacles give way to inner peace. The album closes with the track "Searching for a Tree" and the meditative "Totekni se".

The songs are characterised by harmonies, noises, dreamy guitars and slightly oriental elements, inspired by travels to India. The producer and musician Tomáš Tkáč  contributed to the final form of the songs. The lyrics of the four songs come from the pen of the poet Eva Černá. "The collections Okamžiky života (i.e. Moments of Life ) and Laskavosti (i.e. Favours) inspired me to my creative work, during which new layers of beauty in the poems were revealed to me again and again," explained Tereza. The energy of the songs is given by the percussion of Polish musician Maciej Gizejewski.
