The first single by Tereza Hrabini from the upcoming album Dceremonie will be released on 13 March 2026. The song Královna impéria is also the closing track of the entire record and leads the listener directly to its culmination. It gradually develops from intimate passages to an urgent conclusion, in which a siren is heard as a symbol of an inner decision to take responsibility for one’s own life. The queen does not rule an empire outside, but a space within. In this way, she becomes free.

“For me, the release date of the first single was also important, my father was born on 13 March. The album title Dceremonie refers to childhood, to the theme of a daughter and the search for a home and a place to belong. These are themes that opened up for me after the passing of all my grandparents and my father over the past four years, and all the songs on the record revolve around them,” adds Hrabini.

On the single as well as the entire album, Hrabini collaborated with musician and producer Nèro Scartch (Purpl Boi, MYDY). The almost legendary Amák Golden handled the mix and master.

The screenplay, direction, and editing of the music video for Královna impéria were created by Daniela Sláviková. “Working with Tereza was great from the very beginning. She communicated very clearly what kind of vibe and message the video should convey. At the same time, I think we were lucky to find each other because the song's vibe suited my directing style very well, and that was also helped by the fact that Tereza was not afraid to go down the path of shooting the entire video on film. A big thank you also goes to Naty, whose costumes and set design are a huge part of the whole piece and make it unique and magical, just like the wonderful cinematography by Adam Roul,” comments Sláviková.

As with the song Přerod, the video was created in collaboration with cinematographer Adam Roul, assisted by Matúš Szantolay, Vojtěch Hrabčík, and Daniel Peprník. The video was shot in the Super 8 format. Costumes and set design were created by Natália Mináriková. The video features actresses Diana Dulínková, Daniela Hirsch, and Sitali Nasilele.

Although the album thematically follows the debut Přerod, both sonically and lyrically, it moves into a new dimension. “The motif of transformation partly remains, but this time I allowed myself to return to the very beginning and let the daughter or the child within me speak. The album Dceremonie is rawer, more dramatic and more painful. I felt that only original lyrics should be heard here, although I look forward to further collaboration with the poet Eva Černá in the future,” comments Hrabini.

Another single will be released in June, followed by the full album Dceremonie in August 2026, again under the Indies Scope label. Tereza Hrabini’s debut album Přerod was released in 2023. The songs Řeka v zimě, Pole vlčích máků and Žlutý dům remained in the Radio 1 chart for several weeks. The editor in chief of iReport magazine Jarda Hudec nominated the album for Discovery of the Year. The music magazine Musicserver named Přerod album of the week and ranked it eighth among the best albums of 2023 at the end of the year. In the 24th edition of the Radio Proglas Album of the Year poll, Přerod placed nineteenth. The podcast Stárnoucí mileniálové included the album among the ten best records of 2023, specifically in ninth place out of a total of 222 rated albums.
