Discover the contemporary music scene, singer and songwriter Kvietah releases a new single Samota. She recorded this energetic track with her band Včely as the first preview of an upcoming album, which will then be released in September. Samota is released on 6 March under the Indies Scope label and will be performed live as early as 17 March in Brno at a concert in the Kabinet MÚZ club, which will be recorded by Czech Television.

The new single is built on the image of solitude, which grates between the teeth more like an object than a state. Kvietah explains: “About moments spent in the silence of a flat, about looking into cracks in the plaster and into the emptiness that remains after a relationship ends. The song contains the pain that persists after the decision to end a dysfunctional relationship, but also the strength that comes from such a step.” As in many of her previous original songs, Kvietah offers a fragile yet firm statement grounded in detail and authenticity.
The artist, who drew significant attention with the album Díky, včely, and won the Anděl Award 2024 in the Discovery of the Year category, returns to personal themes in the new song. Instead of grand gestures, she offers a focused inward gaze and allows the listener to glimpse a space where pain transforms into decision and decision into new energy. The upcoming album will apparently go even deeper into open and honest positions.
Another recent development is the release of videos from the live broadcast of the Epiphany Concert at the Brno City Theatre, which took place on 4 January 2026 and was organised by Charita. First, Lucie was released, and then, on the fourth anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the thematic song Herojam sláva was also released.
