Tereza Richtrová

Tereza Richtrová was born in Brno and has been involved in music since the age of seven. She studied classical singing at an arts grammar school under Irena Vašíčková Pollini, then a soloist of the Janáček Opera, and graduated in solo singing with a repertoire of songs and operatic works by Haydn, Bach, Rossini, Schubert and Dvořák. With a chamber orchestra of early music, she toured the USA. At the same time, she was active in theatre at the Dům divadla Husa na Provázku studio and co founded the Brno folk punk band Terrariot, where she sang and played the cello. She studied drama acting at JAMU. She was a permanent ensemble member at the theatre in Olomouc and at the National Theatres in Ostrava and Brno, and for five years she hosted the live broadcast show Dobré ráno for Czech Television in Brno and Ostrava. She lives in Prague, works as a freelance actress and collaborates with Czech and international television and film productions.
