Ženský sbor Lipina z Hroznové Lhoty

This little ensemble was founded in early 2008 on the initiative of the musician and publisher Pavel Valíček, who was preparing a profile CD of male choir from Hroznová Lhota and was looking for a suitable counterpart to ease the rough male voices and record several song sets. Than he approached seven women and girls who, after successful recording, began meeting regularly; the name of the ensemble was taken after the name of a forest at the foot of the White Carpathians directly above Hroznová Lhota. The rehearsed repertoire (the core of which are songs written down directly in Hroznová Lhota or in the vicinity – Tasov or Kněždub) was enough to release debut CD Štyry noce nespala sem (Albert, 2011), where the ensemble (now has already nine members) is again accompanied by the Horňácko Dulcimer Band of Libor Sup.
