Nauzea Orchestra may not bring you the blue from the sky, but the entire Universe instead!

The single Vesmír (Universe) heralds the sixth studio album Ulož tmu by Nauzea Orchestra, a band unafraid to speak the language of the contemporary world. The lyrics work with motifs of campaigns, advertising, slogans, and collective illusions, setting them against the personal universes of individuals. Tesla, loudspeakers, ads, and even Laika form a portrait of an era overloaded with symbols that promise peace, direction, and salvation, but ultimately offer mostly noise. Vesmír thus functions as an ironic and at times bitter reflection of a reality in which everyone has their own space while the shared universe continues to fall apart. Compared to the band’s previous work, the new album by the five-piece Nauzea Orchestra is tighter and more aggressive, drawing on krautrock repetition, minimalism, and post-punk energy. It will be released on February 20, 2026 via the Indies Scope label.
