Indies Scope is putting together special compilation called „Ztracený ve světě – A Tribute To Oldřich Janota “(“Lost in The World – A Tribute To Oldřich Janota ”) for 60th birthday anniversary of Oldřich Janota, one of the most original Czech folk singers. Songs from the “Man who walks through the wall” (the critics’ choice award Yellow Submarine for lifelong contribution in 2000) were recorded by: Jablkoň (Ztracený ve světě/Lost in The World), Traband (Druhý břeh/The Other Side), Tara fuki (Čekání/Waiting), FruFru (Hotel Savoy), Maraca (Bitva na Tursku/The Tursk Battle), Čankišou (Místní blázen/Local Idiot), Jana Vébrová (Červen na svaté/The June Saints) and many others.
The compilation will be released 27th of August 2009 and 1st of September there will be a christening of the album at the special concert in Prague club Vagón where Jarda Svoboda, Václav Pohl, Jana Vébrová and others will perform.
